On November 21st the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Estonia, organized annual culinary masterclasses ,,Georgian Cuisine and Supra” for the representatives of media working in the field of culinary and tourism as well as for the local businesses, including tourism agencies and food and wine distributors. The purpose of the annual event was to introduce Georgia as popular tourism destination, promote Georgian gastronomy and raise awareness about Georgia’s export potential.
Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Estonia, Archil Karaulashvili made an opening remarks as well as presentation about Georgia's tourism sector, export potential and culinary traditions. His Excellency introduced the information related to governmental policies and initiatives supporting SMEs.
Chef from Georgian restaurant in Tallinn ,,Tavern Tbilisi” Mamukel Gorelashvili provided participants with the technics of preparation of traditional Georgian dishes Khinkali and Khachapuri and companies representatives introduced their products. The invitees had an opportunity to taste different types of Georgian tea and wines presented at the event as well as participate in the preparation of Georgian food.
