Photo exhibition “European Pages in Georgian History”
On 30 May, on the occasion of Georgia’s Independence Day and 30 years of diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Republic of Estonia the photo exhibition “European Pages in Georgian History” was organized in Tallinn’s historic building - the House of the Blackheads. The collection of archival documents, including the documentary materials covering Georgia’s centuries-old friendship and political, cultural and military co-operation with Europe were displayed.
The photo exhibition was attended by the governmental officials of Estonia, NGO’s and media representatives, as well as members of diplomatic corps, Georgia diaspora and Georgian students. The Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Estonia, H.E. Archil Karaulashvili welcomed the audience. In his speech, Ambassador emphasized the importance of positive decision regarding recent Georgia’s application for the European Union membership.
